Sean Moffat, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Sean Moffat is entering his sixth season as Head Golf Professional, bringing a strong background in club operations, instruction, and leadership. He began his career at Kahkwa Club as an Assistant Professional from 2013 to 2016 before advancing to First Assistant Professional at San Antonio Country Club in 2017. He later returned closer to home, serving as First Assistant Professional at the Country Club of Buffalo from 2018 to 2020.
Throughout his career, Sean has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in both service and player development. He was honored as the 2016 Western New York PGA Assistant Professional of the Year and is one of the few TPI Certified Golf Instructors in the Erie, Pennsylvania area. In addition to his instructional expertise, Sean has contributed to the growth of the game through his service on the Western New York PGA Board of Governors for nine years.
A dedicated mentor, Sean has played an instrumental role in developing golf professionals who have gone on to successful careers in the industry. His leadership in merchandising and operations was recognized with the 2023 Merchandiser of the Year award, reflecting his continued impact on elevating the club experience.
Sean resides in Erie, Pennsylvania with his wife, Brianna, and their three children.
