Reciprocal Privileges

The Kahkwa Club has reciprocal arrangements with several country clubs in the Erie area, and across the U.S., including: The Country Club of Buffalo, Shaker Heights Country Club, Cobblestone Creek Country Club, and University Club of Chicago. Senior Resident Golf

Ages 35+

Our Senior Resident Golf Membership gives you full access to all facilities including our Donald Ross Golf Course, Clubhouse, Tennis Courts and Aquatic Center.

Junior Resident Golf

Ages 21-34

Our Junior Resident Golf Membership is for individuals between the ages of 21-34, and allows you full access to all Kahkwa facilities including the Golf Course, Clubhouse, Tennis Courts, and Aquatic Center.

Junior Limited Sports

Ages 21-34

A Junior Limited Sports Membership gives the Member full access to the Clubhouse, Tennis Courts and Aquatic Center. A Junior Limited Sports Member will have access to the Golf Course during limited hours established by the Board of Governors.

Resident Social

With our Resident Social Membership, Members will have access to our beautiful Clubhouse, Tennis Courts and Aquatic Center. All Resident Social Members may golf four (4) times per yearin off-peak times, as well as be a guest of a Member and is entitled to sponsor golf guests with payment of greens fees three (3) times per year.


A Non-Resident Member is one who has no permanent or temporary residence within 75 air miles of The Kahkwa Club, which will be defined as not living in said Kahkwa area for in excess of any 30-day period in any year. Non-Resident Members may play 30 total rounds at the times designated for Golf Members. Non-Resident Members, their spouses and dependents will pay the prevailing green fees for each round in season, May 1st-September 15th, and for each round out of season, September 15th-April 30th.

*Effective January 1, 2016. The above categories and descriptions are in effect for 2016. The Board of Governors has the right to make changes at any time.

Dress Code

Members, guests and children above the age of 15 are to be appropriately dressed while in the Clubhouse. The following is suggested as a guideline for various areas of the Club.

  • Tank tops, swimsuits, collarless shirts (excluding the approved PGA mock turtleneck), flip flops, unclean or stained tennis shoes or the absence of shoes are not considered proper attire for any area of the Clubhouse.
  • No balloon pocket cargo pants or shorts are to be worn while on the Club grounds.
  • Properly fitting casual, knee length shorts allowed.
  • Dress style denim, with no visible holes or tears, frayed edges and properly fitted, are allowed in the Ross Room and casual Tap Room on the lower level.
  • No denim is permitted in the main lounge, Main Dining Room or Veranda.
  • No denim is permitted for any Club events unless specified by the General Manager.
  • Hats on gentlemen are not acceptable attire on the main floor. 

We would like to encourage casual dress in all areas. Jackets, business and formal attire are worn at the pleasure of the Member.
